With all the new Web 2.0 tools on the Internet, how do you know what is worthwhile? Here’s a social networking site, Wakoopa (www.wakoopa.com), where you can track your apps, discover new software, share what you use, and get updates on what’s going on right now with your friends.
Sign up and then their system recognizes your system OS. After you download the Tracker, you will be asked to install it to your applications. Then you are asked to pick a service to find some of your contacts who may be on Wakoopa. After you find friends or don’t find any friends using Wakoopa, you are sent to your own dashboard where you can change your settings, update your profile, and create a widget.
You can put it on your site by copying the code, viewing source, and then pasting it into the source code. If you want a widget for your blog sidebar or project in My eCoach, you can easily paste it into any embed box.
Check out, download, and try some of the software listed on this site -- there are thousands. They even have a way to put your widget tracker into Facebook that is really detailed.
